With over eight years of prior experience at Allstate Insurance, Michael brought a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to his clients.

In 2020, our agency made a significant transition, shifting from an exclusive partnership with Nationwide to becoming independent agents. This change was an exciting step forward, allowing us to expand our reach and provide our clients with access to a wider range of insurance companies. While we remain honored to hold Elite Status as a result of our longstanding relationship with Nationwide, our independence has empowered us to offer even more tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of every client.

Michael is the founding principal of The Michael P. Lavelle Agency Inc., established in 1993.He is a graduate of Siena College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing & Management. After Siena, Mike began his insurance career with Allstate Insurance company. He spent 9 years with Allstate in a management capacity in both the claims and sales department.
Kimberly Mule

Kimberly was born and raised on Long Island, where she currently resides with her family. She began her insurance career with The Michael P Lavelle Agency Inc. in 1999. Kimberly started as a customer service representative and then became a licensed insurance professional and strives to provide excellent service to each and every person.
Matthew J. Lavelle

Matthew was born and raised in Queens, New York. He attended Msgr. McClancy high school then went onto John Jay College pursuing a career in law enforcement. June 2005 while in college Matt started as a part-time employee at the office. He expanded his roles and then got licensed in New York State. Since then, he has continued to expand his knowledge of the industry. He strives to teach and pass along knowledge to his clients about insurance.
Cathy Romano

Cathy has been with the Michael P. Lavelle Agency since July 1, 2012. Cathy is a graduate of Queens College with a Bachelor of Arts in English & Secondary Education. She began her insurance career with Allstate Insurance in 1984 as a customer service representative, and then was promoted to a No-Fault Specialist desk. She subsequently worked for General Accident Insurance as a high value No-Fault Specialist. Cathy strives to provide personalized and knowledgeable assistance to our Agency clients in all phone and personal interactions.
Maria Wukovits
Associate Agent

Maria is a licensed personal lines sales and service associate of the Michael P. Lavelle Agency. Maria is a graduate of Queens Borough Community College and has an Associate’s Degree in Business. She started her insurance career with State Farm in 1995 and has also worked in the claims department. She started in the Lavelle Agency in January 2021 and has over 27 years of insurance experience. Maria goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service to all our insureds. She is an asset to the office!
